+ Can I seed balance if I’m on birth control?

Yes. Your birth control will dictate when your period comes and goes and the level of estrogen and progesterone in your body, but seed balancing will still help. You can still relish in all the positives of seed balancing such as cramp relief, improved breast tenderness, reduced bloating, insomnia, hormonal acne and mood swings. Seed balancing is also a great natural course to take while transitioning off birth control.

+ Can I start seed balancing mid cycle?

Yes, you can pick up seed cycling wherever you are in your cycle. If you know which day your last period was then you can start with the seeds that correspond with where you are in your cycle

+ How long will it take for me to start seeing the effects of seed balancing?

We recommend a minimum of 3 months to start seeing the effects of seed balancing. Though please note that it can take anywhere from 3-6 months to start seeing noticeable changes. Stick with it and check in with your body often.

+ Should I eat the seeds at the same time everyday?

Incorporating the seeds into your normal routine will help keep you on track without much thought, but we encourage you to mix up what you add the seeds to!

+ Will seed balancing help with my PCOS?

We cannot make general claims regarding helping with various disorders, but we can recommend seed balancing as an opportunity to help alleviate various symptoms associated with PCOS. By regulating your hormones naturally with seed balancing, you can reduce the effects of PCOS symptoms caused by hormone irregularities.




+ Can I take more than one pack a day?

Our MONA stick packs are sold as convenient one-a-day powder packs to give you the allotted amount of each seed to experience the benefits of seed balancing. We recommend one per day.

+ What should I mix the seed packs with?

Our powder packs are nothing but the essential seeds for a reason. We want MONA to fit into your lifestyle however you see best fit, but freely add our packs to smoothies, salads, oatmeal, yogurt, etc. Follow us on IG or our blog for recipes and MONA useage inspiration!

+ Are there additional supplements I can take in conjunction with the seeds to optimize my results and experience?

We found that ginger root helps initiate menstruation. During the Follicular Phase (Phase 1), Omega-3 fatty acids are also beneficial to reduce inflammation and support reproductive functions. Eating lots of high-quality fatty fish (wild!) or taking a high-quality fish oil supplement is encouraged. During Luteal Phase (Phase 2), we recommend supplementing MONA with evening primrose to promote GLA (gamma-linolenic acids) to boost progesterone and reduce inflammation.

+ What if I miss a day? What happens?

We get it, life gets busy and the day sneaks away from us! Don’t worry if you miss a day of MONA. While we recommend keeping on schedule with your packs, if you find that you’ve accidentally skipped a day, just continue the next day with the next pack for your appropriate phase.

+ Can I take MONA if I am pregnant?

As with any new supplement during pregnancy, it is important to consult your doctor before taking anything while pregnant. Because Seed Balancing is rooted in your regular hormone cycle, we recommend not seed balancing during pregnancy as hormones may follow a different pattern.
